Manitowoc Crane Group will display and demonstrate three cranes in Booth
N2016 at ICUEE 2007, which will be held October 16-18 at the Kentucky Fair and
Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. On display are innovative cranes
from National Crane and Grove.
MCG will debut the National Crane Series 900H at ICUEE 2007. The 900H is a
27 t (29 USt) capacity boom truck with H-style outriggers. The new H-style
outriggers offer the advantage of full-span, mid-span, and retracted-span load
charts. This model is available with a 21.03m (69ft), 28.96m (95ft), or
32m (105ft) boom. The maximum tip height is 48.16m (158 ft) with the 32m
(105ft) boom and 13.41m (44ft) jib. The 900H also features a fully integrated
automotive style wiring and Can-Bus control system and a full color graphical
LMI (load moment indicator) system.
The Series 1400A is the largest of the National Crane products on display.
The 30 t (33 USt) capacity crane boasts a five-section, 38.72 m (127 ft) boom
and a maximum tip height of 52.12 m (171 ft) when used with a jib. It also
features an LMI and adjustable swing speed, both standards on the Series 1400
cranes. Self-lubricating Easy Glide pads provide the 1400A with smoother
operation and an exclusive internal anti-two-block wire design eliminates
snagging on obstructions.
Grove is displaying the newest model in its line of YardBoss industrial
cranes. The 8.1 t (9 USt) YB4409-2 offers full 360-degree continuous rotation
capability. The YB4409-2 provides longer reach and higher capacity than other
cranes in its class with a three section, full power boom that extends to an
11.6 m (38 ft 2 in) tip height.
