MCG completes global product manager appointments
Manitowoc Crane Group appointed three new global product managers
responsible for ensuring that MCG lifting solutions are fulfilling market needs
around the world.
The new appointments are: David Havard, global product manager for Potain tower
and self erecting cranes; Neil Hollingshead, global product manager for Grove
all-terrain and rough-terrain mobile cranes; and Ruben Olivas Saunders, global
product manager for Grove truck cranes and National Crane boom trucks. These
product managers join Raman Joshi, global product manager of Manitowoc crawler
cranes, in representing MCG's full product line.
The global product managers report to Bob Hund, Manitowoc Crane Group's vice
president of marketing. Hund said their appointment will help MCG focus on
global lifting needs.
"Our global product managers will complement our existing product managers.
They will ensure that new and existing cranes meet global market needs and
fulfill our company objectives," he said. "These individuals were
chosen because of their knowledge of global market dynamics. Their job is to
synthesize regional strategies into a global vision and work with product and
marketing management to offer our customers the most innovative lifting
equipment on a global basis."
David Havard most recently served as product manager for Potain self-erecting
cranes, while Neil Hollingshead is returning to MCG. He previously served as
product manager for Grove all-terrain mobile cranes. Ruben Olivas Saunders most
recently served as sales manager for Potain in Central and South America. Raman
Joshi has been in his position since 2006.
The global product management team will work closely with regional management,
ensuring both local and global requirements are met for existing and new
product development projects.
