Manitowoc Crane Group Names New Vice President of Worldwide Marketing
The Manitowoc Crane Group has announced Larry R. Bryce is joining its
executive team as vice president, worldwide marketing. Larry brings over 20
years experience to the post and will be responsible for strategic planning,
direction and execution of marketing functions. He succeeds executive vice
president Larry Weyers, who will now direct his energies solely to managing
Manitowoc Crane CARE activities worldwide.
Having spent three years
in China integrating US technology to facilities and developing the sales,
marketing and service infrastructure in the country as well as other Asian
nations, Larry Bryce brings extensive international background to the post. He
also served as John Deere’s director sales, marketing and service – based out
of Orleans, France – for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and Asia
regions.
Larry most recently served as worldwide marketing manager
for John Deere Power Systems in Waterloo, Iowa. He was responsible for
tactical sales activities related to its power train division. In this
capacity, he dramatically increased sales and market share in North America,
EMEA and Asia.
Reporting directly to Glen Tellock, president and
general manager of Manitowoc Crane Group, Larry Bryce will work closely with
marketing teams in each region to set and implement marketing penetration
efforts across all product lines on a worldwide basis. He will also transition
into leading the global new product development team.
Larry is a
registered professional Civil Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree from
Oklahoma State University and was awarded a Master of Business Administration
degree by the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in
Evanston, Ill. He is married with two children and will be relocating to the
Manitowoc area.
