Manitowoc to exhibit full crane line at CONEXPO 2008
Manitowoc’s crane division will exhibit products from all its crane brands and support divisions at CONEXPO 2008. The show will take place in Las Vegas between March 11 and 15. Manitowoc’s 3530 m2 (38,000 ft2) booth is located in the outdoor Gold Lot, Stand #353.
The company will have 12 cranes on display. This includes seven new launches and other cranes making their first public appearance in the United States. In addition to the lifting equipment on display, Manitowoc will have areas dedicated to Manitowoc Crane CARE, its customer support division, and CraneCREDIT, the company’s financing arm. There will also be a training simulator on the stand and visitors are encouraged to stop by and test their crane operation skills.
Larry Weyers, Manitowoc’s executive vice president for the Americas region, says the company wants to use CONEXPO 2008 to reinforce some key messages.
“We are anticipating a high level of interest in our newest generation of cranes at CONEXPO 2008,” he said. “The show gives us an opportunity to remind the industry of our commitment to product innovation and customer support, not only for our North American customers, but for our customers around the globe. With the high level of attendance and strong global profile, CONEXPO 2008 is the perfect platform for us to showcase our latest developments.”

CONEXPO, which takes place every three years in Las Vegas, is the largest construction equipment trade show in North America. Show organizers are expecting 125,000 attendees at this year’s event.
