Building on a training tradition from Manitowoc and Grove, Manitowoc Crane CARE Americas Training now offers a complete knowledge package for all your crane brand needs. With facilities in Manitowoc - WI and Shady Grove - PA, you will be able to expand your knowledge in Manitowoc, Grove, National, and Potain products. It is our commitment to offer world-class service, parts and sales training to our customers.

The Manitowoc facilities offer an extensive hands-on lab with 11 hydraulic/electrical, six conventional crane, four CAN-Bus and 12 load moment indicator work stations. This training lab is to help the technicians become more familiar with the Manitowoc product along with confirming their knowledge in hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic theory and operation.

The Crane CARE mobile simulator which is based on the Manitowoc 2250, is ready for operator training offering fixed and luffing boom configurations and a fully functional load moment indicator. This simulator can also assist your operators prepare themselves for crane certification

The Shady Grove facilities offer the finest in classroom instruction, with four classrooms available making the learning experience very comfortable.

The Product Training Center, situated on the east side of the Shady Grove plant, is ideally suited for hands-on training. The 6,000 square-foot building will accommodate multiple units for troubleshooting sessions, including larger GMK models. Dedicated component tear-down and rebuild spaces for MCG products, along with a 1-ton jib crane, will improve the student’s hands-on experience.  Full sets of test weights are available to provide a new level of operator training.

Training students also have access to the Grove Computer Lab for various hands-on computer training sessions. During parts training, sessions covering GPX2 Parts Ordering and the PartsMaster CD are held.
